The owners frequently stocked coffee and provided excellent housekeeping for cleanliness that is hard to find these days.

I appreciated the cleanliness of my room and the comfort of the bed at the Plaza Motel. Daily housekeeping kept things in good shape. A microwave and fridge for snacks were convenient. Though I faced some issues with the noisy heater that interrupted sleep occasionally, the friendly owners made my stay more pleasant. It was nice feeling safe as a solo female traveler. Some areas need attention, like the outdated bathroom lighting, which was a bit challenging, especially for shaving. The room did have that lingering old smell, which was not ideal. I could see the motel's age in areas like the carpet and some fixtures. Overall, a comfortable stay with room for improvement.

The bed was very comfortable, providing a decent night's sleep.
During my stay, I was disappointed by the lack of basic amenities. The air conditioning was non-functional, and despite being assured it would be replaced, that promise never came to fruition. Additionally, the room itself had a lingering smell of smoke, which made my stay less enjoyable than I had hoped.

The King Room was cozy and offered great amenities, including a fridge and microwave that made late-night snacks easy. I appreciated the friendly staff, who were genuinely helpful and attentive throughout my stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing me a solid night's sleep after a busy day. Additionally, I felt safe during my stay, something that can be challenging for solo travelers.
The heater was quite noisy, disrupting my rest occasionally.

A Decent Stay with Room for Improvement
Our King Room provided a cozy space for 4 nights. The fridge was handy, but be cautious using the microwave. it disrupts the TV signal. While the heater kept us warm, it could be noisy. Enjoyable for a family, but manage expectations.

I spent four nights here while attending a vet tech course. The owners were friendly and attentive, ensuring my room was clean daily. I appreciated the ample towels and toiletries. The room offered a comfortable stay with a small fridge and microwave, which were handy, though the microwave disrupted the TV. There were instances of loud conversations outside at night, impacting sleep. The heater was a bit too noisy, running every few minutes, but the overall cleanliness and safety felt reassuring, especially for solo travel. The location was convenient, especially for visiting Sandy's Haven.
